I love making things, whether it’s a website, a game, a drawing, or some odd project involving fire and metal. For me, those processes aren’t really all that different. I have a creative side and practical side, and I find the most rewarding balance in what is produced after driving both towards a single intent. Over the years software has become a medium for me, and I enjoy the entire process of taking big ideas from concept to final product.
I have a lot of interests and a very long bucket list, so you’ll find me automating tasks if it will save time. I enjoy building interfaces with a solid backbone, so nobody has to waste time trying to patch the foundation. I’m a fixer, too, and enjoy helping people solve tricky problems. Closing on two decades of experience, I’ve become fluent in many languages and stacks, but spend most of my time these days hacking away at Rust, Python, JavaScript.
